4WD for Sale, 1983 Ford F150 4x4 SWB Truck

This 1983 Ford F150 4x4 SWB Truck was posted in Craigslist looking for a new owner. As you've seen here is original F150 short wide bed model would be fun to restore. This truck claimed to run and drive very well with solid frame and decent interior, and looks to be good bone as a subject of restoration project. A desirable shortbed I-6 4x4 with patina look, these early 80’s models have always been handsome, and apart from the occasional Bronco, good ones seem to be rather rare.

New, 2017 Ford F150 Raptor

New, 2017 Ford F150 Raptor

This new 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is the most capable and reliable off-road truck ever made by Ford, this high-performance pickup truck has passed desert trail testing in the Southwestern United States and Mexico, and both had a distance of more than 1K miles reached.

Trucks roll over at a wide range of surfaces, like a steep climb in deep sand, slow crawls through tight trenches, deep-rutted silt beds, and fast sandy washes. 100 mph top speed and 10 mph in some hard terrain locations, for an average speed of approximately 50 mph, means the new 2017 Ford F150 Raptor had 25% faster than the current Raptor’s truck.

The new 2017 Ford F150 Raptor sports a twin-turbo V6 mated with an all-new 10-speed automatic, Ford claims it will deliver more horsepower and torque than the current Raptor which comes with V8-engine and also the new Raptor will little bit wider for improved stability off-road and lighter, thanks to the latest generation F150's aluminum body.

The new 2017 Ford F150 Raptor comes with six preset driving modes:

  • Normal mode for everyday driving
  • Street mode for higher-performance, on-road driving
  • Weather mode for rain, snow, or ice
  • Mud and sand mode for muddy and sandy trails and terrain
  • Baja mode for high-speed desert running
  • Rock mode for low-speed rock crawling

Ford engineers say the new 2017 Raptor will continue some tougher and harder tests before being launched, it pushed far exceeding what an owner would do on the trail. The sales are scheduled to begin in the fall of 2016.
