This is not the 2.25 nor the 2.5 na..These engines are so sought after that Defender owners here in the US are constantly converting to either a 200 or 300 tdi..Hell this engine is so great and popular, I installed one into my 2004 D2 Expedition beast. Starts on a dime no smoke and runs perfect and smooth..lots of power from the new turbo. Mated up to 5 speed with a locking CDL 4 diff lock. The entire frame has been VERY well preserved. I have taken dozen of pics to illustrate the perfection underneath. You will see military lights under the vehicle near the diffs to help assist under extreme situation. It does come with a cb radio and military antenna. I purchased an aftermarket pioneer cd radio that has not been installed yet. The tires will need to be replaced soon. plenty of thread but some dry rut. All the turn signals front and rear are new! The rear cross member is perfect! No damage anywhere. 2 inch lift helps with articulation when off roading. As you can see from the pics, double fuel filters help really keep the diesel running super clean. This truck is here and title in the US. Ready for new owner to enjoy. The paint it descent. Recently i found a small oil leak from the engine..about the size of a 2 quarters. I think is coming from oil pan..this will need to be address. I do plan to add a snorkel and a very light window tint before i sell it. That would complete and set it off right!

Here's an ULTRA RARE 1986 Volkswagen Vanagon Syncro 4WD in UNBELIEVABLE condition!! This one lived most of it's life out west and it shows! Finished in Flash Silver over Grey/Charcoal check cloth, this Vanagon is by far the cleanest and most corrosion free one we have seen! The underside, seams and most of the common weak spots clean!! I would call this a ''Survivor'', untouched or modified and pretty much as it came from the VW factory!! It is a base GL and is an early Syncro. It runs and drives out GREAT!! No shakes or vibrations in the driveline and recent service! This one pulls through the RPM band with ease and shifts great! This one doesn't smoke at all and a pretty darn dry engine! Our tech believes the 2.1L was rebuilt at some point and the compression is great! The body shows only minor imperfections and a few very light scratches that one would expect on a vehicle this age, but again, shows like a fraction of the miles!! We added black Go-Westy bumpers to give it a more modern look! Tires have less than 5k miles on them! It is the 4-speed with the additional low gear. We are amazed at how clean it is everytime we walk by it! It shows like a 60k mile Vanagon, not 262k miles! Asking $14800/reasonable offer. *Clean, clear Ohio title on hand.
