Here's a brand new SUV produced by Nissan Motor, they unveils Venucia at Guangzhou Auto Show in 2014. This Compact SUV has code T70 all assembled and built in China by the Dongfeng Nissan Motor Passenger Vehicle Company (DFL-PV). Same as the first generation Nissan Qashqai and the second generation Nissan X-Trail using, also the Venucia T70 was based on the Nissan C-platform.

The Venucia T70 SUV will be offered with two options, the first for low option, powered by 1.6-liter 4-cylinder petrol engines mated with CVT will produce 120hp. While the bigger had two options five-speed manual or five-speed automatic, both powered by 1.8-liter 4-cylinder petrol engines will produced 142hp.

The Venucia T70 is a modern SUV with advanced technology, they have a smartphone link application tailored for Chinese users, Around View Monitor (AVM), and speed-sensing volume control. All of that is well into standard equipment.

Nissan Frontier Recalled in North America, Electrical Issue

Electrical Issue Sees Nearly 17,000 Nissan Frontier. The risk of spontaneous combustion has prompted Nissan to announce the recall of 16,838 Frontier pickups in North America. The issue stems from an incorrectly installed circuit breaker that can also run the risk of preventing the powered seats or sunroof from operating.

Of the nearly 17,000 vehicles called back, most (13,535) are in the US, some in Mexico (1,930), and fewer in Canada (1,373).

No incidents or injuries connected to this fault have yet been reported, and the problem can be remedied at the dealers’ where the improper circuit breaker and wire harness can be checked. The only report that would confirm the problem is one signaling smoke coming from under the dashboard, in one of the trucks being used in Mexico, in December.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) said notification of owners will commence at the beginning of March.
