4WD for Sale, 1986 VW Syncro Doka for Sale

Here's a 86 Syncro Doka, owner purchased this truck from the second owner and we've had it for three or four years and lately it's been our only vehicle...owner wife has decided we need to sell it and get something more practical...so we've purchased a Volvo wagon.

Here's some of the bigger stuff we've done:

• Had transmission rebuilt in summer 2012 with NOS ring and pinion and updated 3-4 slider gear.
• 215/75 R16 BF Goodrich All Terrain T/A's on painted 16" MB steel wheels
• S/S Go Westy muffler, clamps and front manifold
• JVC head unit with ipod control/USB, amp and 6x9's (behind seats)
• replaced power steering rack
• coolant flush and replacement
• replaced clutch master and slave cylinders
• added MB Sprinter swivel tie downs to the bed

Truck runs great! A couple things it needs:

• it doesn't want to idle when cold...you have to warm it up for about 3-4 mins or it will stall. It's fine once warm.
• will SOMETIMES pop out of 4th gear if it is being lugged a bit. I think somehow the 4th gear wore improperly

I have the factory 14" wheels with Michelin LTX's and factory dealer manual to go with it.

I'm in Campbell River, but am bring it over this weekend (August 16) for the Great Canadian VW Show in Vancouver and will be staying at my friend' place in East Vancouver.
