The van was offered by the current owner on craigslist about twenty-one days ago and is still online today when we posted it here. If you're interested, come closer inspection is a must to appreciate.

For sale is 1989 Mitsubishi Delica L300 Chamonix “Starwagon” 4WD Turbo Diesel van!

And the best part is that it has a nearly new engine! The old engine has been replaced with a brand new Mitsubishi-factory unit (D4BF turbo diesel engine). The replacement happened at a local Burien auto shop specializing in Japanese cars.

The repair happened just shy of 169,000 kilometers. Current mileage is just under 174,000 kilometers, see photo.

All oil changes have been completed per the mechanic’s recommendations (several 1000 kilometer changes right after the new engine). The entire clutch was also replaced during the engine replacement.

Complete with roof cargo rack and ladder, 4-wheel drive, aggressive tires, turbo diesel, right-hand drive, manual transmission— this van is clean and ready for adventure!
