Detail by owner
Someone could probably use a Vanagon Syncro Westy for Christmas. I've decided to sell it after owning a little over 2 years. I haven't used it quite as much as I hoped and I haven't gotten around to some of the minor projects that should be done to it. It is exactly the model I find most desirable so I will be sad to see it go. It's the Westfalia Syncro Weekender, so it doesn't have the full kitchen cabinetry, much more living space than the full Westfalia.

Mechanically it is very sound. The previous owner did a lot of work creating a very reliable adventure vehicle. Here's a list of some of the upgrades in the past few years...
-Decoupler
-New performance viscous coupler
-BMS upper control arms
-Upgraded suspension
-High torque starter
-Upgraded cooling system with stainless parts in place of plastic
-Onboard propane
-Propex heater
-Dual battery system
-Bigger Audi brakes
The list goes on. If you're interested, I will send you more detail of all the upgrades and maintenance.

The van could use a few things...
-Biggest item that's been on my list is to address the rust bubbles starting around the windows.
-It's got some bent metal on the driver's door.
-Needs an alignment
-Some of the interior parts are "quirky"

Overall it's a fantastic van. I hope it can go to someone with the time to really appreciate it.
