I was told by the owner that he and his son worked on it as a project. He also told me the V8 was a new crate motor with a little over 500 miles on it when I purchased it. I have driven it some, but not a bunch. There were 40,009mi. on the Fj when I purchased it. There are about 40,463 miles when I took the photos. So about approximately 1,000mi on the engine. The parts that are listed as NEW are the parts that I placed onto the vehicle. The parts that are listed as newer are the parts that were new on the Fj when I bought it. I also did the work for the California Smog Legal V8. The exhaust is 2 ½" down pipe connected to a single 3" exhaust and glass pack out the back. And NO CATILITIC CONVERTERS WERE REQUIRED BY SMOG FOR THE FJ, so no CATS are on it! And the exhaust sounds good! There is a huge amount of ground clearance as I had the exhaust tucked above the rails. The Fj stands tall. I'm not sure of the overall lift, but the bottom of the frame rail sits about 20" off the ground and the body of the vehicle at the footstep is about 24" off the ground.
