1991 Toyota Hiace 4x4 Diesel Van Looking For A New Home. I'm in Seattle from time to time, otherwise in Leavenworth, WA. Serious inquiries and well informed offers preferred.

This one-of-a-kind adventure van has 87,000 miles, just broken-in for a diesel (140,000 km.) It sports a heavy-duty truck-like chassis and has the legendary 3L (2.8 liter) Toyota engine. Imported from Japan, Right-hand drive, Digital dash in Km. These are known the world over to run forever.

Serious 4-wheel drive with locking hubs, Push-button 4x4, High/Low transfer case. Good Clearance, Dual Moon Roofs, Large Moon Roof has auto open/close. Power Windows, Power Door Locks, A/C.

Original curtains all around. Mid row seats swivel to face forward/backward. Back seat slides fore/aft. All seats fold down to make a bed.

New water pump, new timing belt, new air/fuel filters, new General Grabber AT2 Off-road tires on alloy rims.

Short wheelbase, great for off-road travel. Not big on power, does not exactly fly over mountain passes. Automatic Transmission. No cruise control. Original JDM stereo, so FM band doesn't pick up US stations. Great condition, very few nicks/scratches. New muffler is in order, AC needs a recharge.

Comes with extra set of steel rims for snow tires/highway tires.

Convert to biodiesel or SVO? Add a turbo? Options abound. This rig is ready for any road trip you can throw at it. Baja? Alaska? South America??

A fair comparison would likely be a VW Diesel Synchro with 87,000 miles. Difference is this has Toyota reliability and more space, and moon roofs.

I love this van, and hate to see it go. I need the cash and I'm open to reasonable offers, and would consider delivering the van for $1/mile + 10% deposit.
