This has been a fun project car and I went deep, making improvements in all areas: Engine rebuilt about 50,000 miles ago. LED headlights, transmission cooler, lots of sound dampening, air suspension bags, air shocks, trailer hitch, modified to fit oversized spare tire, recored radiator, replaced drive shaft, etc, etc. Before last Smog (only 3,000 miles ago) replaced plugs, wires, cap/rotor, front brakes pads/rotors. I drove this van about 90,000 miles and its in WAY better shape than when I purchased it. Rear seat needs to be bolted down, I never used it. Overdrive solenoid has the only fluid leak on the van and after replacing 2, I just live with it. Your first project could be fixing passenger side electric window. No air conditioning. Hot/Cold air control broken, the valve is reachable under the van, I change it seasonally. This van fits everything (full sheets of plywood, camping gear, bikes, friends, etc.). Be prepared for smiles, waves and stories of strangers’ past vans.
